DCFC SOCCER SCHOOL

Our custom designed curriculum has been developed through our professional experience and is influenced by the Dutch training philosophy and methodologies. Our program is designed to improve every player on an individual basis through fundamental technique training.

Our Soccer School offers a once per week supplementary Technique Training Centre, the Development Intensive is an INVITATION ONLY twice per week Training Program.

Professional experience is an important part of what we offer. DCFC offers a staff that has over 75 years of combined experience. DCFC has a unique staff of provincially, nationally and internationally qualified coaches with an unmatched level of experience competing at the National and International levels. We are able to offer our professional experience and a unique curriculum. Our staff and management is continuously developing and focusing on learning and improving everyday.

The maximum player to coach ratio is 12:1. However, often we organize sessions to offer a lot of individual attention.

Generally, a maximum of 12 players are grouped together per training group although often it is less than that. Age isn't the deciding factor in how we group players in the Soccer School. We group players as closely as possible based on age, but we always group players based on their individual skill level. We as a staff decide how we will organize the groups to optimize everyone's personal development.

No, The Soccer School is a supplementary technical training program open to all players of various levels. We challenge each player on an individual basis.  We focus on fundamental technical development and also positional play and small sided games.

During the Spring and Summer terms, DCFC Soccer School is outdoors and runs 75 min sessions.  However, during the indoor Fall and Winter terms, we offer 60 min sessions. Each session is well planned, effectively coordinated and efficient as possible.

Each term is 10 sessions.  We never train over the long weekends in order to offer a break for players.  Rest is also an important part of development.

Currently, we offer locations in Scarborough and Oshawa.  Please visit our Soccer School page to learn more about which facilities we operate our programming from.

For your trial session, players can wear soccer shorts, socks, and a training top (preferably black).  Please bring indoor (Fall/Winter) or outdoor (spring/Summer) soccer cleats. Once players officially begin in the Soccer School, they will receive a DCFC Training kit.

Yes, players can join the Soccer School at any point as long as there is space available in the training groups.

No, but there is an option to select 2 terms, Spring/Summer or Fall/Winter, at the time of registration in order to reserve a spot for both terms.  Once registration reopens for the following term(s), you will need to reregister online.   The DCFC Soccer Schools have limited spots available per location and are very popular so they fill up fast. We want to continue working with enrolled players as we believe continuous development is both beneficial and challenging.

Due to the popularity of the program, we are no longer able to offer free trials.
