What age is the DCFC Development Camp for?
The DCFC Development Soccer camps are geared toward children ages 7 to 13. We are not a baby-sitting camp. Our camps are for boys and girls of all abilities. However, we do want to work with serious players who aim to improve their skills. Many competitive players participate in order to work with the high level DCFC Academy and Soccer School coaches.
Who are the coaches?
The Dutch Connections FC Academy and Soccer School coaches are among the most experienced staff including multiple former professional and international players. The knowledge and expertise on the pitch at the DCFC Development Camps is unique by Canadian standards. This will help to provide the ultimate camp experience for all of the players.
How do you set up the practice groups on the first day?
All participants are separated by age. Within the first two days, the participants are all evaluated by our Camp coordinators and Academy coaches and switched to a more fitting group based on their skill level. We want each individual player to improve and it is our experience that this is the best way to achieve results the right way.
What are the ratio coach/player?
1 coach for every 12 players. We always prefer to organize smaller groups so that players receive more individual attention.
