DUTCH CONNECTIONS DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY PROGRAM

What is DCFC’s Development Academy Program?

DCFC is very excited to announce its new Academy Development Program!

Following a comprehensive review of elite player development, DCFC will launch the individual Development Academy in October 2016 for U8-U15 players. DCFC’s philosophy is based on increased technique training, tactical training and meaningful games.

The DCFC Academy currently has two teams in two age groups: U8 and U11, these teams are already a part of DCFC’s Development Academy Program.

The Academy is currently in the process of expanding its programming in the U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14 and U16 age groups by the Summer of 2017. Additionally, DCFC aims to develop a girls program in the near future. DCFC’s Academy will only be open by invitation and the tryout process. Players will be selected through DCFC scouting network and out of DCFC’s new development program.

Starting in October, DCFC will start with a coordination, strength and conditioning training at TPASC. For more information about TPASC click on the link: http://www.tpasc.ca/ .  The DCFC strength and conditioning program will be optional for the fall/winter but will be integrated in DCFC’s Academy programing by the spring of 2017. DCFC will also implement High Tech technology in its programming to maximize player potential.
